About Healing the Land
Healing the Land, as this ministry has become known, was born in February 2002 when the South African farmer and evangelist, Angus Buchan was invited to come to the UK and speak to farmers up and down the country, 12 months on from the devastation caused by floods, foot and mouth and BSE.
Groups in many regions were formed and have continued to meet to pray and support one another.
The scripture which was the call for the campaign was 2 Chronicles 7;14:-

It is the vision of Healing the Land to continue to relate to these groups and provide a central point of contact and resource for mutual encouragement and support.
The work of Healing the Land is undertaken by a small number of people who's activity is purely voluntary and financial gifts or surplus from sale of books, audio or video recordings are channelled to support the work of the Shalom Trust in South Africa.
